Help Relieve AASD Lunch Debt and feed children in need

  Help Northside Neighbor to Neighbor with its school lunch debt relief project! The Appleton Area School District has had to shift more than $80,000 from their general fund to help pay for school lunches for families in need at schools that don’t qualify for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The Northside Neighbor to Neighbor team has embarked on a project to raise money to help offset some of the school district’s costs. There will be a rummage sale Sept. 4-6 from 8 to 6 at 340 W. Capitol Drive in Appleton. Bring whatever items you can on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 2-3 from 4 to 7 p.m.  (See the  list of items that we can not take. )   We will also need help setting up, working the sale and tearing down on the last day.  AGENDA DPOC Monthly Meeting, July 14, 2025 | 7-8pm Welcome, Promise to America and Land Acknowledgement (3) Chair Emily Tseffos Emily called the meeting to order at 7:01pm. She welcomed everyone, lead the Promise to America, and read the Land Acknowledgement. Approval of June Minutes (2) Secretary Mary Kohrell Motion and second by Dale Shaber/Dean Spoehr to approve the June 11, 2025 DPOC meeting minutes. No discussion. Motion carried. Review and Approve Treasurer’s Report (2) Chair Tseffos for Treasurer Alyssa Vandenberg As of June, we have $56,561.81 in checking, $1,092.64 in savings. June income was $3,112.22, and expenses were $5408.46. Motion by Dottie LeClair/Christiana Coakley to approve Treasurer’s report as presented. Motion carried.
