Help Relieve AASD Lunch Debt and feed children in need
Help Northside Neighbor to Neighbor with its school lunch debt relief project! |
The Appleton Area School District has had to shift more than $80,000 from their general fund to help pay for school lunches for families in need at schools that don’t qualify for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The Northside Neighbor to Neighbor team has embarked on a project to raise money to help offset some of the school district’s costs. There will be a rummage sale Sept. 4-6 from 8 to 6 at 340 W. Capitol Drive in Appleton. Bring whatever items you can on Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 2-3 from 4 to 7 p.m. (See the list of items that we can not take.) We will also need help setting up, working the sale and tearing down on the last day. There are 10 total time shifts, each requiring multiple people so please step up as you can by signing up here! Even if you have nothing to donate, come and visit the rummage sale September 4-6 and support our fundraising efforts to support our Appleton Area School District and its families. Now more than ever we need to be involved in our communities. This is a great way to do that. For more information or if you need to make arrangements to drop off your items early contact Kathy Kraus at 920 470 4673. To simply donate directly to this project click on this link! |
